Throusno

Throusno — a place I traveled to, to visually investigate the portent of a catastrophe about to happen. In my approach I deliberately leave the spectator in limbo about the incident itself. I found Throusno to be the ideal place to capture the dismal atmosphere that has seeped into our everyday lives in this new century. Inspired by painter Edward Hopper and street photographers Stephen Shore and William Eggleston, I try to capture this vague, dystopic feeling evoked by the unsteadiness of a rapidly changing world.
