Inspired by legendary street photographer Martin Parr, this series canvasses the presence of things. Possession and ownership inject meaning into the material world surrounding us, until the boundary between the material and living world becomes indistinct. Where Parr clearly focuses on the human phenomenon, my goal here was to find a certain human expression in the things I captured.
