Throusno – I investigate the portent of a catastrophe about to happen.
In my approach I deliberately leave the spectator in limbo about the incident itself.
I rather found Throusno as the ideal place to capture the dismal atmosphere that seeped into our everyday lives in this new century. Inspired by painter Edward Hopper and Streetphotographers Stephen Shore and William Eggleston, I try to capture this vague dystopic feeling evoked by the unsteadiness of a more and more rapidly changing world.
